DESCRIPTION:What do you know about the Holy Spirit?\nHe is the third person
  in the Trinity - He is God’s special provision for the Church … Jesus
  called Him ‘the gift the Father has promised’. (Acts 1)  Jesus said 
 the Holy Spirit would be such a blessing to us that it was better for us t
 hat he went away! (John 16:7)\nBut his ministry is a self-effacing one.  
 His role is not to draw attention to himself but to point us to Jesus\, as
  Jesus role is to give glory to the Father.\nSo\, you can be forgiven for 
 not knowing too much about him!\nAll the Apostles Creed says about Him is 
 … ‘I believe in the Holy Spirit’\nThe Gloria only says …“with th
 e Holy Spirit” … not much to go on!\nThe Nicene Creed adds a little mo
 re …“We believe in the Holy Spirit\, the Lord\, the giver of life\, Wh
 o proceeds from the Father and the Son\, Who with the Father and the Son\,
  is worshipped and glorified\, Who has spoken through the Prophets”.  S
 o\, we thought it was time we looked a little deeper at the person of the 
 Holy Spirit.  \nWe are familiar with the Father from the Old Testament an
 d the Son from the New\, but are we familiar with the Holy Spirit in this 
 age of the Church?  \nWhereas once God dwelt among his people in a Temple
  and then in the person of His Son\, now he dwells within each believer! 
  Our access to Him is unrestricted and His presence within us\, a guarante
 e or foretaste of the Heavenly banquet to come! He guides us into all trut
 h\, gifts us for Christian service and enables us to bring forth fruit for
  God’s glory!\nHe is our guide\, counsellor\, comforter and friend\, He 
 shows us Jesus and leads us to the Father - Wow!\nHe inspired the Prophets
  and the Scriptures\, and baptises each believer.\nHe is God himself dwell
 ing within us - let’s embrace Him!\n\n\nHis work FOR us.\nSept 27 - His
