Ignite Youth Ministry is for students in Years 7-12, meeting weekly on Friday evenings during the school term. Young people from Deep Creek and the surrounding community attend the wide variety of events from youth church services, small groups, outdoor adventures, volunteering, conferences and camps.

 

Our overall aim is to encourage young people to "live and love like Jesus" as they learn to better understand themselves and the purpose that God has for their lives.

 

Each term we focus our program on a different topic. During Term 3 we will be exploring relationships in a variety of forms. These include, relationships with friends and family, siblings, boyfriends and girlfriends, and those with whom we struggle to get along.

 

 

IGNITE Youth Church

The Ignite Youth Church service runs twice a term and is held in the main auditorium of Deep Creek Anglican Church. The service includes games, guest speakers, our youth band and supper. Cost $2.

 

 

IGNITE Youth Room Church

Attached to the vicarage of the church, Ignite Youth has a Youth Room where we gather twice a term for fussball, board games, movies, billiards, supper and to hear a wide variety of guest speakers. Cost $2.

 

 

IGNITE Explore

Ignite Explore involves an activity in the local community. It maybe undertaking volunteer work, a sporting activity, going on an excursion, camping or attending a major youth conference or event. Explore is an excellent opportunity for the youth to invite their friends along, to serve others or to better understand their local and wider communities.

 

 

IGNITE Small Groups

Ignite Small Groups operate on a weekly basis, meeting in a variety of locations in the surrounding area. There are currently four small groups that meet for weekly bible study, prayer and fellowship.

 

Junior Girls - Meet on Tuesdays from 5.30pm-7pm
Senior Girls - Meet on Thursday from 5pm-6.30pm
Junior Boys - Meet Tuesdays from 6.30pm-8pm
Senior Boys - Meet Thursday 7.30pm-9.30pm
