Rod McArdle

Rod was appointed Senior Minister at Deep Creek in January 2007. Before coming to Deep Creek, he was on the staff team at Holy Trinity Doncaster. Prior to entering full-time church ministry, Rod held a number of senior executive positions in the resources and investment banking sectors.

 

Rod is married to Sheryl and they have three children, and one grandchild. He is a member of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne Finance Committee and the Area Dean for the Whitehorse Deanery of the Diocese. Rod loves travelling with Sheryl; training and equipping folk for Kingdom ministry and learning new skills in multimedia.

 

 

 

Cheryl Arsenis

Cheryl has been a member of Deep Creek Anglican for the past 25 years and has been on staff as the Children's Minister for the last eight years. She is married to Con and has four married children and three grandchildren.

 

Cheryl likes to cook, travel and spend time with her family and friends.

 

 

Sarah Hemmings

Sarah was appointed as Youth Minister at the beginning of 2008, following ten years as a member of the Deep Creek community. Alongside her studies at Ridley College, Sarah is balancing her role in ministry with working as a primary school Art teacher at a government school in East Burwood.

 

Sarah is passionate about young people growing in their relationship with Jesus, and enjoys encouraging and working alongside the entire Deep Creek community.

 

 

James Duff

James joined the Deep Creek team at the beginning of 2009 as the young adult pastor. Prior to working at Deep Creek James worked in youth ministry in the Geelong area. Following his ordination in February 2010, James will assume the poistion of Young Adults and Families Minister.

 

James is married to Jane and they have two young sons. He loves sports such as golf, AFL and cricket. James loves eating good cheese and drinking strong coffee. He is excited about seeing people know Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

 

Heidi Stacey

Heidi has been a member of Deep Creek since 2001 and has been in the office as Administration Officer since 2006. In her spare time Heidi is a Special Care Nursery Midwife and piano teacher - she is also part of the Music Ministry team.

 

Heidi enjoys reading and watching as many movies as possible, as well as traveling with her husband Adrian.
