Rod McArdle

Rod was appointed Senior Minister at Deep Creek in January 2007. Before coming to Deep Creek, he was on the staff team at Holy Trinity Doncaster. Prior to entering full-time church ministry, Rod held a number of senior executive positions in the resources and investment banking sectors.

 

Rod has has three children and two grandchilden. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne Finance Committee and the Area Dean for the Whitehorse Deanery of the Diocese. Rod loves travelling; training and equipping folk for Kingdom ministry, and learning new skills in multimedia.

 

 

 

Cheryl Arsenis

Cheryl has been a member of Deep Creek Anglican for the past 25 years and has been on staff as the Children's Minister for the last eight years. She is married to Con and has four married children and four grandchildren.

 

Cheryl likes to cook, travel and spend time with her family and friends.

 

 

Ash Smith

Ash was appointed as Youth Minister at the beginning of 2011, following a decade as a youth leader and member of the Deep Creek community. He works four days a week with the Department of Treasury and Finance, Victorian Government as a commercial adviser.

Ash is passionate about seeing young people grow in their walk with Jesus and being empowered to serve. He is also passionate about seeing people come into a life transforming relationship with Christ. In his spare time, Ash can be found exploring the adventure and wonder that is creation.

 

 

James Duff

James is our Young Adults and Young Families Minister .He joined the Deep Creek team at the beginning of 2009 as the Young Adult pastor and was ordained in February 2010. Prior to working at Deep Creek, James worked in youth ministry in the Geelong area.

 

James is married to Jane and they have three young sons. He loves sports such as golf, AFL and cricket. James loves eating good cheese and drinking strong coffee. He is excited about seeing people know Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

 

Irene Garganis

Irene is our Administration Officer. She is married to Tom and has three energetic children. Irene loves the theatre, reading and travelling with her family. She is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus with family and friends. Irene has been part of the Deep Creek community for the past two years.
