Deep Creek provides a wide range of great activities and events for children of every age group. There's also a variety of young families programs and events to ensure that you and your family thrive during this challenging period of life.

 

 

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings we run three age appropriate groups for children during our 10 am Sunday Morning Live service.

 

These is a creche for children from crawlers up to 3 years of age, Kindy Kidz is for 3-5 year olds, and Kidz Alive is for primary aged children.

 

 

Playgroups

Playgroups are for families with children aged 0-5 years. It is a time where children can learn to interact with different people and have fun as they learn through their play. Parents and carers can also connect with each other and be supported in their role.

 

We have 2 playgroups running: one on Tuesdays and one on Wednesdays. Both playgroups run from 9:30-11:30am. The cost is $3 per family per week paid in advance at the beginning of each term.

 

 

Mothers of Preshoolers (MOPs)

MOPS offers a caring & accepting atmosphere where Mums have an opportunity to share concerns, make friends, explore areas of creativity and learn. Whilst this is happening her children are being cared for through MOPPETS. MOPPETS provides loving, quality care for each child and teaches the Bible to the children through simple stories.

 

MOPS meets fortnightly on a Thursday morning during the school term from 9.30-11.30am. The cost is $7 per family paid on the day.

 

 

Holiday Kidz Club

The Holiday Kidz Club is a terrific program we run for children from Preps to Grade 6. It typically operates for three mornings during a week of school holidays. There are loads of activities for kids to enjoy - games, stories, singing, craft, puppets and some yummy morning tea.

Mainly Music

Mainly Music is a fun music program in which parents and children interact directly using music. Mainly Music helps young children develop skills that enhance their early education, through the use of music, rhythm, rhyme, and other music activities. The Mainly Music program consists of 30 minutes of structured time followed by 30 minutes of free time. Morning tea is served during the free time so parents and kids can get to know other each other.

Mainly Music runs every Friday morning during school terms from 10:00-11:00am. The cost is $5 per family per week (payable at the beginning of each term).

DC Kidz Club

DC Kidz Club is an after school program for primary aged school children. It's lots of fun, with games, Christian teaching, dinner, craft and much more. Children are divided into age appropriate groups with Frenzy catering for Grades 4-6 children and Phil's Club catering for Prep-Grade 3 children.

 

DC Kidz Club meets fortnightly on Friday afternoons at the church during the school term and runs from 4.30-7:00 pm. The cost is $5 per child paid on the day.
